Sunday, June 25th on Boston Common

The 2023 B.A.A. 10K presented by Brigham and Women's Hospital is this Sunday! We can't wait to race through Boston together this weekend.

Here's everything you need to know for a fun and fast race experience.

RACE DETAILS

Be sure to check the weather before starting your race! For the most up-to-date weather information, visit our partners at WCVB.

We are continuing to monitor the weather forecast ahead of race day and will provide any important updates via participant newsletter, our social media channels and over the public announcement system.

If thunder and lightning are detected in the area and the decision is made to delay the race, all will be asked to take shelter in the Boston Common Garage and remain there until further notice.

The health and safety of our participants, volunteers and staff is paramount. Please follow race day announcements to ensure everyone has the best event experience possible.

Hot Weather Tips

Weather conditions for Sunday’s race are anticipated to be seasonable for June, with temperatures in the mid- to high-70s with moderate humidity. As with every race, we encourage you to listen to your body and adjust your race plan based on the conditions — especially for those who may not be acclimated to warm or humid conditions. We advise all runners take some very basic steps to ensure your safety while running on a warm day, including slowing down, remembering to rehydrate, being aware of any signs or symptoms of heat illness, wearing light clothing, and applying sunscreen. Medical personnel will be located along the course and at the finish should you need medical attention.
