RMOD-DREAM - DAMA / SCPC / Router / Satellite Modem  

RADITEK's latest "Dream" satellite (1:1 redundancy optional) modem offers new levels of performance. Standing for DAMA ROUTER Easy Access Modem, this can be used as a standalone IP modem or as a multi STAR/MESH networking DAMA (Demand Assigned Multiple Access) modem/router. Standard data rate is 13 Mbps using TPC coding with modulation BPSK (from 16Kbps) to 16QAM, and to 20Mbps with same modulation features with advanced LDPC coding. 

 

The unit has on demand Packet Switching Multiple Access (PSMA), with ABOD (Adaptive Bandwidth on Demand). It offers significant advantages over ANY TDMA modem, being very low latency, very high satellite efficiency and low hub and remote cost.

Applications include: IOTM (Internet on the move), for connection to RADITEK's IOTM vehicle mounting flat antenna giving continuous satellite tracking while on the move on the road and cross country. Plus: MESH Voice; SCADA; Disaster Recover and any Internet access. The SCPC/DAMA return channel offers the most efficient return channel in any broad band network (eg DVB-S2).

Ku-Band Micra GaN Block-Up-Converter 

Our new 40W and 50W (rated power), Ku band, GaN based BUCs (Block Up Converter) is only 6.5 x 6.5 x 3.7 inches, and weighs only 5.5Lbs. It is half the weight and 1/3 the size of the closest competitor. It has an excellent phase noise LO and has a visible LED alarm, in the unlikely event there is a problem.

It has 24dBc C/lm(Linearity) at 44dBm, and therefore offers great linearity at GaN efficiencies (180W typical power consumption,  at 3dB backoff).

It has built in output isolator, and is available in 1+1 redundancy option too. They have built in GUI with Internet based monitor and control, with both serial and analog interfaces. Switchable LO option can select standard or extended Ku band.

Our redundant LNA systems are the field-proven low noise amplifier product lines. Available in all common Ku-Band frequencies and offering state-of-the-art noise temperature performance, these LNAs can be configured for use in 1:1, 1:2 and custom redundant systems. System monitoring and control is provided through the microprocessor-based 1:1 and 1:2 redundant control panels. Dual 1:1 systems are controlled via the dual redundant control panel. LNA plate assemblies are designed for convenient integration into any antenna hub or facility with RF and user interfaces readily accessible.

Antenna Control Unit , RACU-1000-q16

The Antenna tracking Control Unit is so versatile that it can even be used for extending the life by of Inclined Orbit satellites by tracking their decaying (programmable for up to 5) orbits. It works with any L through Ka band antennas, from 0.4 to 10m, for example. Of course, it is fully compatible with any Raditek antenna, as well as easily being made to be compatible with others.  It offers the best tracking solution for new installations, as well as for upgrading, older systems. It has remote control drive outputs and limit inputs between the (antenna) outdoor unit and the optically coupled, indoor rack mount. Up to 38 preset satellites can be stored and fast slewing as well as fine positioning speeds.  This controller is designed to allow future expansion as well, such as having extra ports for potentiometer based feed control and RF power measurement circuits, plus TTL compatible Digital inputs, and Form C relay outputs. The RACU-1000-q16 continuously monitors: Motion limits, maintenance Drive error, emergency stops and runaway conditions.

High Power GaN and LDMOS Amplifiers, Example 1.6-39MHz 5kW PEP

Our NEW family of high power GaN and LDMOS amplifiers are the most advanced available. The one shown is RAMP-1.6-39M-5KW, which delivers both Class A or Class AB (with Class A-like performance) for 5KW PEP (Peak Envelope Power) and 5KW average power too. It consists of 8 combined power amplifiers (SSPA, for better cooling, and the ALC (automatic level control) maintains full output power, even if one of the SSPAs or power supplies fails-giving it superb reliability, at no extra cost. The amplifier is so stable, that it can work into VSWRs up to 60:1 without damage! It is protected against poor VSWRs, of course. RF noise is better than 75dBc/Hz below the 5KW level. Harmonics are better than -65dBc. We can supply with an exciter if needed, with up to 20ms switching. Remote monitoring via Internet plus M&C plus extensive BITE-(Built In Test Equipment) is accessed via RS/232C, USB etc. Built to comply with MIL-STD-188-141.
