Your Opportunity Region
Creating Safer Workplaces for the Good of Our Community

The RAEDC has been working closely with education institutions, local and state officials, financial institutions, and businesses to provide information, guidance, and tactical support as we work through this unprecedented time.

We are working directly with our manufacturers and the Winnebago County Emergency Operations Center (EOC) to determine how our community can effectively respond to COVID-19. Since the Stay Home Orders have been issued we have ensured manufacturers can continue to support our community by working with local and state officials to ensure that Governor JB Pritzker designated manufacturing as "essential businesses". Our manufacturers provide critical components to support the response to this pandemic. Our region is also manufacturing parts to support our local hospitals and manufacturing PPE should traditional PPE supply chain become unavailable.

We continue to work with our partners to find solutions and connections that benefit our community.

Reminder: Continue to take all necessary precautions; including washing your hands, maintaining 6 ft distance from others, and when possible stay home.

Sincerely,
