Dear Students and Families,

All week, there have been sounds in our school I haven’t heard in months – the sounds of students! We’ve been thrilled to host the Kehillah Summer Prep Program this week for new students and orientation for new faculty. Remember, you can learn more about our impressive new faculty on our website.

As always, we’re starting with community. The new students and staff are building their own communities and, starting next week, we’ll welcome them into our broader school community at the Kehillah Kick-Off Picnic, on August 17, and Kinnus (our all-school retreat) on August 21-22. By the first day of school, on August 23, we’ll be old friends!

We are looking forward to these opportunities to connect and reconnect. For those of you new to Kehillah, please know we are excited to begin the year with you. For those who’ve been with us for a while, please extend your warmest welcome to our new community members. This is going to be a magical year! (That’s a hint about the picnic...)

Warm regards,

Daisy Pellant, Head of School

P.S. Congratulations to the Kehillah students participating in the JCC Maccabi Games -- the boys basketball team just won a Bronze medal!

Lunch Program

As we shared recently, Kehillah is transitioning its lunch service to be provided through Tony Caters to You, in partnership with the JCC. Their menu options will include meat, vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free, and gluten-free options, (all allergens will be listed) and weekly specials will be published in advance. While the Café food will not be kosher, there will be prepackaged kosher options available to purchase each day at the JCC Café.
