Thank You to Brookfield Properties x Imperfect Foods for your support over the last two months. The community is so grateful to have received the delicious donated produce you’ve provided. Your generosity equated to approximately 30,000 meals! We hope to work alongside you again, in the good fight against food insecurity.

We had the pleasure of meeting with Taylor Stevens and Jordan Correa of Rethink Certified at Mott Haven Bar and Grill. Rosa Garcia, the owner and mastermind behind MHBG greeted us and gave us a tour of one of the local restaurants that prepares delicious, healthy meals for the community. We had some time to talk about the current operation and discussed what we’d like to see in the future. Stay tuned!

“Freedom Cooking with Youth” Class
Local youth stops in to learn how to make cultural dishes such as jollof rice and chicken. Chef Karina, native to the Dominican Republic, teaches Bronx Youth about the ingredients and all these fresh items have to offer not only their palates, but their bodies!

Please help us reach our goal of letting 800 children know they are being thought about during this holiday season.

In partnership with Friends of Island Academy, we have onboarded two new members to our distribution team. Both members are Bronx natives who are excited to re-engage with their community, in service.

“As a RAP4Bronx volunteer, I’m afforded the opportunity to provide a vital service to our community in these unprecedented times. I’m amazed by the hard work and dedication of the volunteers and community partners, who, week after week, work together to ensure that meals are getting to those who are in need. Through everyone’s ongoing dedication, we can continue to serve the people of the Bronx.”
