Open Postdoctoral Position in Addiction Neuroscience in the Aston-Jones Lab at Rutgers Brain Health Institute

NIDA Racial Equity Initiative
RFA-DA-23-032: NIDA REI: Addressing Racial Equity in Substance Use and Addiction Outcomes Through Community-Engaged Research at Minority Serving Institutions (R01 Clinical Trial Optional)
If you are interested in pursuing this opportunity but work on a campus that does not qualify as a Minority Serving Institution with limited NIH funding, there may be a possibility to collaborate with RARC researchers from the Rutgers-Camden campus. Rutgers-Camden not only meets the requirements of this RFA, but also has extensive connections with community agencies that might be interested in partnering. We encourage any interested faculty to contact the RARC (rarc@bhi.rutgers.edu). We would be happy to connect you with Rutgers-Camden investigators and set up a workgroup to help support the application.

Rutgers Research Council Awards
The Research Council Awards program offers seed funding to support faculty research that tackles challenging disciplinary problems in the sciences, social sciences, humanities, and creative arts. Funding is available through six separate funding mechanisms (Individual Fulcrum Awards Program, Social and Racial Justice Awards Program, Climate Action Awards Program, Collaborative Multidisciplinary Awards Program, Subvention Program for the Publication of Scholarly Books, Manuscript Review Award). . Applications are due on December 1, 2022.

NJACTS Institutional Career Development (KL2) Program
The New Jersey Alliance for Clinical and Translational Science (NJ ACTS), NJ's CTSA, is delighted to announce that it is soliciting applications for its Institutional Career Development (KL2) program. The third class of KL2 Scholars will be appointed starting July 1, 2023. This is an important opportunity for early-stage faculty to be able to devote 80% effort* to their projects, receive research funding and have the support of the community.

NJHF Annual Grant Program is Now Accepting Applications
The New Jersey Health Foundation is now accepting applications through November 7, 2022 for the recently announced cycle of its Annual Grant Program. This year’s program is comprised of thier Research Grants program which supports early innovative research projects that demonstrate exciting potential and help researchers qualify for larger grants and their new Community Health, Social Service & Education Grants Program which funds health-related community, education and social service projects that address issues impacting society.
