President's Message
Happy New Year!  I think most of us were happy to say goodbye to 2020 as it was a difficult year in many ways. As an Association we were able to come together and learn new ways to safely serve our clients and achieve success. I would like to give a huge thank you to Immediate Past President Cindy Ulsrud for her graceful leadership in an unprecedented year and the outgoing Directors for their time, dedication, and service! I am looking forward to another exciting year for us as low interest rates and high buyer demand will help drive our industry forward. 
 
Giving back to our community has always been a family value we practice. My father became a REALTOR® in 1975 and he strongly believed in the benefits of getting involved in our Associations.  As a family, we have all served on various committees and boards, because we understand it’s an amazing opportunity to connect with other REALTORS® & Affiliate members while helping shape our industry in working towards high levels of professionalism.  I have been a REALTOR® for 20 years and I continue to love what we do!  I am enjoying being part of the Board and look forward to my role as President to continue in the leadership and dedication to support our industry. We have an exceptional Board of Directors and I encourage you all to consider getting involved this year as well! Please reach out to one of us as we would be happy to share what great benefits our Association provides. Wishing you all a successful 2021!

Scott Walker Recipient of Presidential Service Award

Cindy Ulsrud, 2020 President, awarded Scott Walker the Presidential Service Award last month during the Board of Directors meeting. This Award is given to individuals chosen by the President whose work in the Association and his/her community embodies the high standards of the REALTORS® Association.

Since joining the Association in 1998, Scott has been an active member on the Professional Standards and Orientation Committees. He just finished a three-year term on the Board of Directors. He has been a strong leader chairing both committees numerous times and serving as our President in 2019. He is one of our most successful Mediators and one of our most popular Instructors. He is always willing to share his time, knowledge and humor. Congratulations Scott!  
Congratulations to the 2021 RASCW REALTOR® Emeritus Recipient 

In order to receive the status of REALTOR® emeritus from the National Association of REALTORS®, one must be able to demonstrate membership in the REALTOR® organization for at least 40 years and at least one year of service to NAR, the WRA or his/her local association. RASCW is proud to recognize Robin Koth, Targa Investment, LLC , as he was awarded this incredible status in 2021. There are now 68 RASCW members who have received REALTOR® Emeritus status from the National Association of REALTORS®.
In Memoriam
Our sincere condolences go out to the family and friends of Dale Mueller, Mueller Real Estate Services, who passed away on January 6, 2021. Dale was a dedicated REALTOR® and RASCW Member for nearly 60 years. He rarely missed a membership meeting or event. He was a kind man who made it a point to greet everyone with a smile and a compliment. He will be missed.
