Bylaws Update – We need your vote!

On the 19th of November, REALTOR® members will receive a request to vote on updates to RASCW Bylaws. The Board of Directors has recommended that the document be passed per the “Good Sense Governance” recommendations made by NAR.

  • General Housekeeping – removal of redundant information, updates to resources and websites, grammar changes, Code of Ethics educational requirements.
  • Removal of the position of “Vice-President” from document – The Board has updated Policies to remove the Vice-President position in favor of President-Elect and a Past President position. The Bylaws needs to be updated to reflect that change.
  • Elder & Senior REALTORS® and Association President – These are not membership categories and therefore have been moved verbatim to the RASCW Policies document.
  • Board Elections Process & Term Limits – Several areas that address term limits have been consolidated into one location, and the Board Election Process has been moved to the Policies Document.

Please reach out to RASCW Leadership or Ruth Hackney with any questions.
