Prayer focus from Romans 12:4- Lord, help us to remember that though many members, we are one body. Help us to recognize that we are not only united to you through faith, but united to one another through our union with you.
1 John 5: 19 NASB “Therefore Jesus answered and was saying to them, ‘Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does these things the Son also does in the same way.” Father God, You must find our willful spirits so appalling. You call that sin! While Jesus can only do the things He sees You doing, we tend to do so many things contrary to what You do or ask of us. Teach us, Father, how to be obedient children who long to do Your will.
2. John 6: 37-38 NASB “Everything that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I certainly will not cast out. For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.” Father God, this news is amazing to us! Not only do we have a benevolent Father, but His Son who is in right standing with the Father calls us into a blessed relationship. As Easter approaches, we focus on the great price Jesus paid for our salvation, d this was what the Father had planned all along. Praise the Father, praise the Son and praise the Holy Spirit, three in One!
