We are excited for another opportunity to support the Shelby Baptist Association's Christmas Gift Shop!

The Christmas tree is set up in the foyer with names of children who need clothing items and toys. Sign up on Sunday morning to provide for one of these children this Christmas!

We also encourage everyone to purchase cookie and popcorn tins for the parents who are bringing children to the gift shop to enjoy.

All items due back by Sunday, December 7th!

Now is the time of year when we, as a church body, choose plans for regularly studying Scripture in the new year as individuals and as a community. There are multiple options for how to participate, and all are encouraged to join. For more information, helpful recommendations, and links to sign up for reading reminders via email, click here.

Living Nativity is almost here! Please contact Chase if you would like to be involved, or simply mark your calendar and plan to attend!

Prayer focus from Romans 12:16

"Lord help us to be a people who experience and exemplify true harmony and unity. Help us to lay aside our pride and to humble ourselves before one another, putting one another and his or her needs above our own wants and desires."

Further prayer points:

1. Acts 17: 26-27 HCSB “From one man He has made every nationality to live over the whole earth and has determined their appointed times and the boundaries of where they live. He did this so they might seek God, and perhaps they might reach out and find him, though He is not far from each one of us.” Father God, we stand in awe of Your great plan to bring people from all nations to Yourself. We are grateful for Your plan for us individually, for our families and for our nation. This Thanksgiving season we have an abundance of things for which to be grateful. Thank You, Lord God.

2. Hebrews 12: 28 CEV “We should be grateful we were given a kingdom that cannot be shaken. And in this kingdom we please God by worshipping Him and by showing Him great honor and respect.” Father God, we desire to please You with our worship as we show our gratitude for Your steadfast love and daily provision for us. Teach us how to honor You more.
