"God, open my eyes that I might see my church as You see it. Let me see where change needs to take place, even if it is painful to me. And use me, I pray, to be an instrument of that change whatever the cost."

1. Luke 10: 41-42 NASB “But the Lord answered and said to her, ‘Martha, Martha, you are worried about so many things; but only one thing is necessary, for Mary has chosen the good part, which shall not be taken away from her.’” Father, so many times the cares of this life, both responsibilities and duties tend to crowd out our time with You. Would You forgive us and grant us better time management and determination to give You our best time, not that which is left over?

2.  Colossians 3: 23 NASB “Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance. It is the Christ whom you serve.” Father God, we often have a dilemma over doing our best work and giving God our best attention. Help us to choose wisely and to be willing to let some things go for the good of the best things.
