1. Psalm 47: 1-2 “O clap your hands, all peoples; shout to God with the voice of joy. For the LORD Most High is to be feared, a great King over all the earth.” Father God, how we praise You! We come before You with thankful hearts for the many blessings we have received. We praise You with our voices, emotions, intellect, obedience and passion. Teach us to praise You with all that is in us.
2. James 1: 27 “Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.”
Isaiah 1: 17 “Learn to do good; seek justice, reprove the ruthless, defend the orphan, plead for the widow.” Father God, there are numerous children who need homes. Some are waiting to be placed in foster or adoptive care, some are living in difficult and unsafe home situations. Would You provide loving homes for these children? Bless both the children and their adoptive parents. Would You remind the Christian community to lift these families before You regularly?
