Free, One-Day Event For Senior Adults!

October 11, 2022 from 9am - 3pm at Hunter Street Baptist Church

This event is sponsored by the Alabama Baptist State Convention and will feature Allison Speer, Dale Huff, and Frank Jones. Click here or email Danny Watkins for more information.

Christmas Cantata Important Dates:

-Performance and reception will be held on 12/4 beginning at 6:00 PM

-Rehearsals will take place on Sundays from 8:45 - 9:15 AM until the performance

We are excited to have Rebecca Henderson, LICSW joining us on October 9th. She will be leading a training on recognizing & responding to abuse as a congregation. All staff and volunteers working with children are highly encouraged to attend! The training will take place immediately following the worship service. Lunch will be provided but reservations are required. Please RSVP to this event by emailing noelle@rbcstaff.com.

Member Note

It was so special to celebrate the boys yesterday with so many people that have loved me for going on 35 years! I am in awe of the prayers, generosity, and love that you have shown me, my family, and Jackson and Jalyn. I cannot thank you enough for your support and guidance as we live out God’s plan for our lives. My prayer is that the boys will know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and that their time with us, no matter how long or short, is filled with unconditional love. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your kindness, generosity, and love for these precious boys. Continue to pray that God will hold us in the palm of His hand as we raise these boys to be followers of Him. Thank you again! Much love to you all!

1. Matthew 5:13 “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled under foot by men.” Father God, our desire is to be good stewards of our resources and to bless others when we have opportunity to do so. Would You help us to be “salt” to those families we serve through the Food Pantry and other ministries around us? 

2.  Psalm 112: 1 “Praise the Lord! How blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who greatly delights in His commandments.” Lord God, we praise You for bringing our new Children’s Minister to join our wonderful church staff. Bless her Father as she settles into her responsibilities while learning names and faces among our children and the church at large.
