October Event

Join us for a catered lunch and guest speaker on October 8th at 11AM! We will be receiving an update from Eddie Vines, president of Faith Fortress Ministries, regarding his ongoing work in India. Lunch will be provided at no cost, but if you plan to attend this event, please email Noelle by Friday, 10/4. Thank you!

Be sure to mark your calendars for RBC's 2024 Advent events! This year, our advent theme will center around the truth that Jesus is the light that shines through even the darkest of times and circumstances. We hope you will be a part of the special activities we have planned this year!

Churchwide Events

Join us for our deacon-sponsored, churchwide Soup/Chili cook-off immediately following the service on Sunday, October 13th! If you plan to attend and are able, please bring one of the following items to share:

• A pot of soup or chili to enter in the contest
• A side to share
• A dessert item to share
• Please be mindful that we will need more sides than desserts

However, do not hesitate to come, even if you cannot prepare a side or dessert. We hope to see you there!

2024 Fall Work Day

Join us for RBC's Fall Work Day on October 5, 2024 from 8:00am-12:00pm. There will be a wide variety of both indoor and outdoor projects taking place and we can use your help. We hope to see you there!

2024 Fall Festival

Mark your calendars for October 20th from 4:30-6:30pm because our Fall Festival is BACK!!! Start spreading the word and thinking about your costume as this is an event you and your family do not want to miss! If you would like to volunteer to help with the 2024 Fall Festival, please email Camille.

Third Quarter Business Meeting

Our 2024 Third Quarter Business Meeting will take place on Wednesday, October 23rd at 6 pm. Dinner will start at 5:15pm and will be provided at no cost. However, we ask that you RSVP here if you plan to eat. We hope to see everyone there!

Outside Events

Abundant Living is a free, one-day event which will take place at Meadow Brook Baptist Church in Birmingham on October 24th. This event will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 3:00 p.m. with lunch on your own from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Frank Jones will provide pre-service music and lead congregational singing.
