Richmond Behavioral Health Authority (RBHA) Board of Directors and Richmond Behavioral Health Foundation (RBHF) Board of Trustees announced today that Cristi Zedd has been appointed as the new CEO and President. An experienced leader in the behavioral health and developmental services fields, Ms. Zedd will succeed John Lindstrom (recently retired CEO and President) and Susan Hoover (Acting CEO and President) and assume responsibilities on July 1, 2024.

With 17 years of experience at RBHA, she has an exceptional record of serving as an inspiring leader who can articulate a clear vision and put it into action, executing the policies and practices that benefit the organization and its people. We are excited to work alongside her to further advance the critically important mission of RBHA, to promote health, wellness, and recovery for the people and communities we serve", states Irvin Dallas, Chair, RBHA Board of Directors.


Ms. Zedd has 28 years of experience in community behavioral health and developmental services and has served as Chief Operating Officer of Developmental Services at RBHA for the past 13 years. Her leadership has been recognized at the local, regional, and state levels. “We have been trailblazers and leaders in the behavioral health and developmental services fields, and we will continue to provide the highest level of care to the people and communities we serve. As we refine our strategic direction and strengthen our community partnerships, we will also increase our investment in our workforce: the people who make all we do possible.
