Recreational Boaters of CA, a statewide advocacy group for recreational boaters in CA is asking you to respond to the RBOC Call to Action to let your Legislators know you don’t want a 300% increase in boater registration fees which was included in the Governor’s Budget published late last week. Time is of the essence because of anticipated and expected budget approval anticipated within the next four weeks. RBOC urges recreational boaters to contact their State Senators and Assembly Members ASAP and request that their elected representatives reject Governor Newsom’s proposal that we pay a 300% increase in boat registration fees for fewer state boating programs and services.
