Ravalli County 4-H
October 2021 Newsletter
Welcome to the 2021-2022 4-H Year!
The world today isn’t what it used to be. It’s bigger, faster, and more advanced than
ever before. But in the face of real-life challenges, kids in 4-H are inspired to DO. To
build their confidence. To pursue their passions, and to empower true leaders to one
day lead us all. You see, 4-H isn’t just another club. It’s an action-taking, skills-making,
friendship-making society. Made up of DOERS – like you. So, instead of wondering what the future will hold, do something now to help all of us shape it.
Help us celebrate this year’s National 4-H Week by joining our movement to INSPIRE

Livestock Committee Meeting
Every year it is important to look at the systems and rules we have in place for our 4-H program. Each large animal project area has a subcommittee of the Livestock Committee. Those who can vote at the subcommittee meetings are teen project members and project leaders currently enrolled in the project. These subcommittees vote on proposed changes. Those changes that pass the subcommittee will then be voted on at the October Livestock Committee Meeting. The changes that are passed in Livestock Committee will then be voted on at the November 4-H Advisory Council meeting, Extension Office.
