2025 WA State Minimum Wage Increase.
The Washington State Minimum wage was $16.28 per hour in 2024, which is the highest state level minimum wage in the country. The Roofing Contractors Association of Washington
(RCAW) Lobbyists, Mark Gjurasic and Chester Baldwin, tell us that as of January 1, 2025, the minimum wage climbed to $16.66 per hour – thirty-eight cents an hour increase. This has been announced by the Department of Labor and Industry (L&I). Read More

Pierce County man pleads guilty to illegally taking workers comp for nearly 3 years
TACOMA — Juan P. Delgado claimed his on-the-job injuries from falling off a ladder were so severe he couldn’t work for almost three years. But after investigators discovered he was working the entire time; the Pierce County man now has to pay back over $60,000 to the state workers’ comp fund. Read More
