Get Ready For Small Business Month With This Resource Roundup

Each May we take time to celebrate Americans' entrepreneurial spirit! Established by the U.S. Small Business Administration, Small Business Month aims to raise awareness of the importance of small businesses to our economy and communities and encourage support for them.

Fast facts:

  • Small businesses employ 46% of American workers - around 59 million people
  • Small businesses contribute 44% to the U.S. GDP - nearly $5.9 trillion
  • 43% of small business owners are women and 20% are minorities
  • 33% of small businesses are launched with less than $5000

Wherever you are in your small business journey, the Richardson Chamber of Commerce is here for you! Be a part of our Small Business Community to learn from fellow entrepreneurs and enjoy programming tailored to the concerns of small businesses.

We can also connect you with a SCORE Mentor who can provide FREE expert help to start and grow your small business. Contact Noah Frey for more information.

For small business capital, meet with one of our member financial institutions.
