Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom can we go? You have the words of eternal life. We have come to believe and know that you are the Holy One of God."
- John 6:68-69

“Where else can we go?” asked Peter. Many who heard Jesus speak and saw what he did came to the same conclusion. We are their spiritual descendants… and it is part of our task to pass on the faith to our descendants. This is a difficult task today. The example of how we live our lives may well be the most powerful way of influencing others to seek Jesus and follow after him.
