November 30 through December 6 is United Against Hate Week across the Bay Area. #UnitedAgainstHateWeek is a call for Bay Area communities to stop the hate and implicit biases that are a dangerous threat to the safety and civility of our neighborhoods, towns and cities.
Our signature United Against Hate Week event is our virtual Human Library this Saturday, December 5. There are still a few appointment spaces available at www.redwoodcity.org/humanlibrary.
Last but not least, join us in December for Holiday Celebrations Around You, the perfect way to learn about the many diverse winter traditions of your neighbors. Our Craft pick up event for the series is on December 13.

For Giving Tuesday we are sharing the giving campaigns of our partner organizations. Give what you can today or any day. Any little bit helps.
Next up, Redwood City Library Foundation! The Library Foundation is funding programs like Career Online High School, Bridging the Digital Divide hotspots, and our future Downtown Library Makerspace. Give what you can today (or through Dec 31) to the RCLF Resiliency Matching Fund and RCLF will match the first $5,000 in donations! Donate here.
Last but not least, consider giving to Project READ. Your generous donation will help “level the playing field” for disadvantaged youth and low-income adults and families by providing literacy intervention that will raise reading scores by 3.0 levels in one year. Donate here.
