Students from several Rochester City School District high schools will take a field trip on Friday, February 7 to the Bryant & Stratton Greece campus. As a local career college, Bryant & Stratton is proud to be hosting RCSD students who are preparing themselves for the workforce. Students will attend a dollars and sense seminar where they will learn how to write a resume, participate in mock job interviews, and make sure they understand financial literacy.

Students from the following schools and programs will engage in several activities with staff from Bryant & Stratton; Leadership Academy for Young Men, Northeast College High School, Rochester International Academy, Wilson Magnet High School Commencement Academy, and New Beginnings.

There will be a similar seminar on Friday, February 14 involving students from Vanguard Collegiate High School, Monroe High School, School Without Walls, and Young Mothers and Interim Health Academy.

This is part of the District's efforts to celebrate Career and Technical Education (CTE) month in February. CTE month raises awareness to the role that CTE has in readying students for careers and college. CTE month is also a time to recognize and celebrate the CTE community members' achievements and accomplishments nationwide. Throughout the month of February, students will be engaged in various CTE and STEM-related activities in the District.
