NEED A JOB?
A community fair with 44 local businesses and organizations will be on ASU Campus on October 18 from 11:30 AM to 2 PM with jobs, internships, volunteer opportunities and business information/resources.





Kingman - Kingman DCS is planning their 5th annual Trunk or Treat.  United Way will be participating. There will be a Bake Walk  and a trunk contest.  Kingman DCS is accepting donations of candy and items for the bake walk for those that cannot attend.  Anyone with questions about this event can contact Amanda Runkel at (928) 753-8849.

Location: Kingman DCS Parking Lot, 519 East Beale Street
Times: October 26 from 6 PM to 8 PM

Lake Havasu City - The same night, The Shops at Lake Havasu is inviting little goblins 12 and under and their families to join for Trick or Treating, Inflatable fun zones, and the Knack FM's human pinata.   United Way will be on scene passing out Candies and providing a toddlers bounce house.  A Spooktacular Movie will be showing at Star Cinemas following at 6:30, limited to the first 240 people.  Anyone with questions on this event should contact The Shops at Lake Havasu at (928) 764-2400

RIVER CITIES UNITED WAY VISITS DOLAN SPRINGS
September 20 and October 13, Lyn Demaret (President and CEO) and Maria Gonzales (Community Impact) of River Cities United Way made a couple visits to the Dolan Springs area to setup at fairs with dental kids, FamilyWize prescription discount cards, and other resources.
HAVASU KICKOFF

September 21st was the River Cities United Way kickoff at Shugrues Bridgeview room.

We would like to thank the many that were in attendance, some for the very first time - who have stepped up to volunteer in different capacities ranging from Vita Volunteers to Advisory and Board positions.  Your generosity is helping to improve our community!



We would also like to thank all those who brought puzzles, games, and hygiene items to help towards to Havasu Gives Back program (below).
