A Heartfelt Holiday Message from RDC

As we bring another year to a close, our hearts are full. Thank you to all our guests and staff; your enthusiasm, kindness, and continued support make RDC the warm, welcoming place it is.

This month also marks one full year of our monthly newsletter, and we are deeply grateful for the positive feedback we’ve received. Your encouragement inspires us to keep sharing stories, updates, and moments that reflect the gratitude mindset we strive to carry throughout the year.

As the holiday season settles in, we’re feeling especially appreciative of the warmth and spirit of our RDC community. Recently, our team visited a local Christmas tree farm to pick out the perfect tree for Roswell—an annual tradition that brings a touch of Squam’s magic indoors. In the spirit of giving, we have chosen to donate the tree we usually receive from SPNHF (The Society for the Protection of NH Forests), an organization we proudly support with an annual contribution. This tree will be passed along to the Trees for Troops program, which delivers Christmas trees to military families nationwide. It’s a small gesture, but one that allows RDC to share holiday joy far beyond our shores.

From our RDC family to yours, we wish you a season filled with peace, connection, and moments that brighten even the coldest winter days. Thank you for being part of our community. We can’t wait to welcome you back to the lake in the coming year.

Calendar 2026

The RDC 2026 Calendar has officially been mailed out—just in time for Thanksgiving! Keep an eye on your mailbox, as calendars should be arriving soon. We hope it brings a little Squam warmth to your winter days and helps you start dreaming about summer at RDC once again.

Barque & Bight Newsletter

We’re hard at work putting together this year’s Barque & Bight newsletter, which will be heading to your mailboxes in early January. Packed with updates from the past season, a look ahead at what’s new for the coming summer, and stories from around Squam, it’s a wonderful way to reconnect with RDC during the winter months.

The packet will also include your 2026 Reservation Request form, so you can start planning your next stay on Squam. Keep an eye out, you won’t want to miss it!

Dreaming of spending your summer on the shores of Squam Lake? We’re now gearing up for the 2026 season and are looking for enthusiastic, hardworking, and team-oriented people to join the RDC team! Job descriptions and the staff application are available on our website, making it easy to explore the roles that might be the perfect fit for you or someone you know.
