News You Don't Want to Miss!

Dear RDC Guests,

As the season winds down and we look ahead to closing soon, we want to take a moment to thank each of you for making this summer at RDC so special. Your laughter, stories, and traditions are what bring this place to life year after year. It has been our joy to share the Camp with you—whether you were here for your very first visit or your 50th—and we are so grateful to call you part of the RDC family. Until we meet again, we’ll be holding onto the memories of another beautiful season on the lake.

-Yours truly, RDC Staff

L.L.Bean Returns to RDC

We’re excited to share that L.L.Bean will be back at RDC this fall for another photo shoot! Their team first visited in the fall of 2024, when they captured stunning images of their latest gear and apparel at Camp for their Spring/Summer 2025 catalog and website. They loved RDC so much that they’ve chosen to return for more photos this year. We can’t wait to see how our beautiful lakeside setting will be featured in future L.L.Bean collections!

Coffee with the Chamber of Commerce

If you are in the area, start your morning with us! On Thursday, September 23, from 7–9 am at the Commons, RDC will host Coffee with CNHCC. It’s a relaxed, no-pressure gathering with fresh coffee, tea, and breakfast treats—perfect for connecting with Central NH business owners, nonprofit leaders, neighbors, and friends old and new. Bring a co-worker, a friend, or just yourself, and stop by anytime during the morning. We’d love to see you there!

Closing Time at RDC

It’s that time of year when Camp will grow quiet soon. In a couple of weeks, we will be busy packing up, closing the cottages, pulling boats from the water, and giving everything a good clean before putting Camp to sleep for the winter. By the end of the month, our incredible summer staff of 139 will have headed home to 22 different countries, leaving just 15 of us here to watch over RDC until spring. While it always feels a little bittersweet, we’re grateful for another season of memories and already looking forward to when camp comes alive again next year.

New in the Camp Store

Have you seen our new retro ringer and baseball T-shirts this summer, available in the RDC Camp Store and now online? Featuring cheerful “Happy Camper” graphics and a classic Rockywold-Deephaven sign, these shirts are the perfect way to show your Camp spirit all year long. Whether you’re relaxing by the lake, hiking the trails, or reminiscing about summer from home, these retro designs bring a touch of nostalgia and fun to your wardrobe. Be sure to grab one before they’re gone!

Stop by the Camp Store or shop online: rdcsquam.com/shop. Limited supply—grab your favorites while they last!
