The
Rochester District Golf Association
is excited to announce our inaugural
RDGA Junior Membership
program for 2019! Designed specifically for
Rochester area junior golfers ages 6 to 18
, our Junior Membership is centered around a National program called
Youth on Course
. This groundbreaking program provides members access to golf for $5 per round at more than 900 participating courses across the country and within the Rochester District.
For just $20 for the season, your RDGA Junior Membership includes:
- Youth on Course membership
- A USGA GHIN Handicap number (to post scores online and track progress)
- Hurricane Junior Golf Tour Membership discount (available until 2/15/2018)
- Discounts for lessons at The Golf Academy of Rochester and TGA College Combine
- 2 Adult Flex tickets to the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship at Oak Hill
- Quarterly RDGA Junior E-Newsletter
- Access to enter 2019 RDGA Junior Tournaments

Did you know that, as of January 1, 2019, the official Rules of Golf have changed?
There are many new aspects to the Rules that YOU, as a golfer, SHOULD know before you set foot on a golf course this season!
One of the most important jobs the
RDGA
will be undertaking in
2019
is preparing and educating our
Member Clubs
and
Golfers
for the recent changes to the
Rules of Golf
. To do this, we are offering
FIVE
public Rules seminars - to be held EACH Saturday during the month of March. These seminars will be led by our own expert Rules officials
and will include open seminars for all golfers, regional seminars for clubs and offering individual private seminars for clubs.

AS WE WELCOME 2019, WE LOOK
BACK AT THE 2018 RDGA SEASON
The
2018
season was a busy one for the Rochester District Golf Association with several familiar champions being crowned, along with many activities, both near and far.
From Chris Blyth's memorable playoff victory in the 2018 RDGA District Championship John H. Ryan Jr. Memorial at Monroe Golf Club, to Jim Scorse's victories in the RDGA Match Play Championship (his 10th) and RDGA Mid Amateur Championship (his eighth); and Jenna Hoecker's third RDGA Women's Championship title to Steve Puccia winning the District Senior Championship - and Scorse earning his unprecedented 15th RDGA Player of the Year Award, the 2018 RDGA Championship season was both busy and memorable one.
