More Information on the New Program
On May 29, 2020, Governor Wolf signed into law legislation (House Bill 2510) allocating the commonwealth's federally funded Coronavirus Relief Fund to various programs across the state. The legislation included the creation of a dedicated rent and mortgage assistance program to help those whose livelihoods have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
PHFA will release the guidelines for the program on June 29. Counties will begin taking applications for assistance on July 6.
