Just wanted to give a heads up on the shipping of the Pear Kits. I know you have all been patiently waiting, and they are coming. This has been our most popular Evenings with Ethel project to date, so thank you for wanting to make this with me. It is going to be so much fun.

Valerie has been dying her little heart out in our small Dye Kitchen and the green wools have turned out beautifully. This was probably an overwhelming project for our first go round in the Dye Kitchen! Valerie is soooo ready to start dying any color other than Green! LOL

Kits will be mailing out the last part of this week. We are cutting wool as fast as we can and are still waiting on some of the leather cording to arrive for the stems.

We will still plan on starting this project on Wednesday, January 17th. We will review what is in the kit and talk about the cutting of the wool and the paper piecing of the pear sides. Remember this is not a race, let's have fun and enjoy the journey.

We are working hard to make sure everyone has their kit in time, but if you don't receive it by the 17th you won't miss much, since we will be just reviewing the kit and the prep work.

Please Note: We will be using each green wool piece twice in the project to accommodate the 24 different wool pieces that it calls for.

*Green Wool for the Leaf

*Muslin for the Sand Bag

*Leather Cording for the Stem

*Your favorite stitching threads available in assorted colors.

We will be doing a variety of stitches, and everyone can embellish

their pear however they would like.

*Silica Beads, Crushed Walnut Shells or other weighted material.

*Polyester Fiberfill or Wool Stuffing Scraps.

We have a wait list going for those that did not pre-order a kit and it looks like we will have a few extras. We will no more later this week and let the group know if there are any available.
