What's Up in Religious Education
Summer Sundays Schedule

Here's what is going on this Sunday in RE--

  • Preschool-1st Grade--Spirit Play
  • 2nd -5th Grade--Moon Fire, Special Guests
  • 6th Grade and older--Youth Group

Children and youth still begin with their families in the Sanctuary. Parents please bring kids 4th grade and younger downstairs to their classes.

RE Teacher Recruitment
Currently, we are recruiting Religious Education teachers for the 2018-2019 church year. We have a few spots left.  Please consider teaching.

What is the commitment?
We like to staff our teaching teams with a minimum of four volunteers.  This ensures that teacher leads class only once a month and assists once a month. Teachers are off two Sundays a month to attend service. Substitutes are available when needed, as well.
Can Non-parents volunteer?
Yes!  We welcome the involvement of our young adults and other congregations who do not have children in the program.
What do I have to do to prepare?
You will receive training and a well-planned curriculum. For the one Sunday a month you lead class, you will need to familiarize yourself with the lesson.  If specific materials are needed (art projects, handouts), they will be ready and in your classroom on Sunday morning.
Count me in! How do I sign-up?
