Wednesday and Sunday Night Programs
Pause Due to the Omicron Surge
January 6

Sunday School for all ages and Sunday Worship at Knollwood will continue with the safety measures of masking and social distancing in place, providing weekly spiritual sustenance to our faith community. However, Knollchat will be on hiatus through January.

In light of the Omicron variant’s significant presence in our local community, Knollwood will take a "pandemic pause" for Wednesday night programs and Sunday night Youth Group and Youth Choir for the month of January.

Though we will miss gathering midweek and Sunday evenings for music, formation, and fellowship, we anticipate gladly returning to Knollwood’s full schedule of weekly offerings, and again enjoying breakfast treats at Knollchat, when the Omicron surge has subsided.
In Summary
  • Sunday School and Worship will continue; Knollchat will be suspended.

  • During a “Pandemic Pause,” all regular Wednesday night and Sunday night activities will be suspended (except for Chancel Bells).

  • Masks are required when indoors at Knollwood and vaccinations and boosters are encouraged for everyone who is eligible.

As approved by Knollwood’s ReGathering Team at its meeting on Jan. 3.
A Word from Bob

Omicron is upon us with a vengeance, and from all indications, a lot of people are sick or are about to get sick, so let’s hold one another close in our love and prayers.

Because of the likelihood our volunteer and participant base will be down in the near term, our lay and staff leadership have recommended the adjustments detailed above.

Our Medical and ReGathering Teams will continue to assess the situation and update you as this situation unfolds.

Knollwood always rises to a challenge, and God’s grace is sufficient so I am confident we will weather this storm as we have every other.

Fear not, little flock. For it is God's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. ~ Jesus (Luke 12:32)
