UUCF Parents and Families Event on April 17th
Attention Cheese Lovers:
Miss being together in beloved community and enjoying eachothers company? Here's a great opportunity to get together! UUCF will be hosting a virtual cheese tasting event for parents and families. Join local professor and cheese enthusiast Christine Rai for a fun and delicious Zoom cheese tasting. During our lively one hour session, you will be guided through a tasting of five styles of cheese, learning about the history, science, and culture behind this delicious food. Cost to attend is $10.00 plus the purchase of cheeses on your own. Nichole, UUCF's Director of Religious Education has attended one of Christine's tastings and loved it so much she wanted to bring together our families to share in the experience!

Christine Rai is an innovative professor at Frederick Community College who specializes in food studies, culture, and hands-on learning. She adores cheeses of all sorts and has been leading cheese tastings since 2017. Christine writes about food, travel, and teaching at www.christinerai.com and is about to publish her first book, Rainbows in the Rain and Stars in the Dark: Inspiration for Positive Living
