REBA Construction Law Section Webinar on January 15th

Revisiting the Statute of Repose: Trustees of Boston University v. Clough, Harbour & Associates LLP

Please join REBA’s Construction Law Section for a webinar at 12 noon on Thursday, January 15th.  Christos Koutrobis and Gregoire Ucuz, both of Bernkopf, will present.

The panelists will cover the recent SJC decision in Trustees of Boston University v. Clough, Harbour & Associates LLP, which held that the six-year statute of repose for construction-related torts does not bar a claim for contractual indemnification.

The discussion will examine the case’s background, analyze the Court’s legal reasoning, and explore its broader implications for lawyers handling construction contracts and related disputes. Key topics will include indemnity clauses, risk allocation, and how this ruling may impact future litigation.

This webinar, open to all REBA members, is from 12 to 1 pm on Thursday, January 15, 2026.

To register, RSVP to Matt Zarrella at zarrella@reba.net.
