The Redding Easton Basketball Association (REBA) is affiliated with the Easton Community Center. REBA is a developmental travel program that welcomes competitive girls and boys from fifth through eighth grades willing to commit to basketball. Each grade has a girl's team and a boy's team with rosters between 10 and 12 players. Teams meet twice weekly for approximately 90 minutes from November through February. Games are typically played on weekends against other towns in Fairfield County that compete in the Fairfield County Basketball League. The estimated number of games is 15 to 20 consisting of 8-10 home and 8-10 away games, depending on opponent availability. Home games will be scheduled in Easton or Redding, depending on availability and time. The cost for the program will be $700. Tryouts are free of charge.
As a competitive travel team, tryouts are held where players are selected for the team. The Redding Parks and Recreation Department has an active recreational program for those who do not make the REBA teams.
The REBA travel basketball program will be holding tryouts Saturday 10/1 and Sunday 10/2 at the Easton Community Center. Please block the date and register your players for tryouts. This email contains information on Tryouts and COVID requirements. Please see all sections below.
Tryouts will be run by paid coaches and evaluators.

BOYS and GIRLS Tryouts will be held on at the Easton Community Center at the following times by grade:

Boys : October 1st, 2022
5th Grade Boys - 1:30pm-3pm
6th Grade Boys - 3pm-4:30pm
7th Grade Boys - 11am-12:30pm
8th Grade Boys - 9:30am-11am
Girls : October 2nd, 2022
5th Grade Girls - 1:30pm-3pm
6th Grade Girls - 10:30am-11:30am
7th Grade Girls - 9:30am-11am
8th Grade Girls - 11am-12:30pm
Make-up tryouts will be held on Monday, October 3rd, 2022 at Helen Keller Middle School.
Make-up tryout time slots:
5th and 6th grade boys and girls - 5 PM-6:30 PM
7th and 8th grade boys and girls - 6:30 PM-8 PM
Please Pick-up promptly at the end of tryouts.
