Hopscotch Challenge
Materials: Sidewalk chalk, one die and a little imagination
Create an outdoor hopscotch course challenge by drawing out your hopscotch course but instead of placing numbers in the squares, place fun and physical challenges. A player rolls the die, hops that many spaces and does the challenge on the square. Players take turns until the first person to get to the last square and completes the challenge wins.
Activities to fill your squares:
Jumping Jacks, push ups, hop on one foot, crab walk, quack like a duck, whistle a t.v. tune, spin around, tell a joke, your favorite dance move, etc. Don't forget to throw in a couple of "back 2 spaces" or "move forward 1 space" squares to make it even more fun and challenging.
