From Consent to Confidence: Best Practices for Working With Youth During Their Family Planning Visits

Webinar Description

This webinar will explore best practices for working with adolescents and young adults, considering issues of minor consent and confidentiality, sexual and reproductive health, and youth autonomy in navigating the health care system. We will focus on how to best prepare youth to begin the lifelong journey of managing their health care needs. 



Learning Objectives

  1. Differentiate between consent and confidentiality for minors in clinical settings.
  2. Apply the concepts of consent and confidentiality to sexual and reproductive health.
  3. Identify fundamentals of care for adolescents and young adults.
