RESET CHALLENGE
Week 5: REINVEST

This week's theme is REINVEST.

“If you find it in your heart to care for somebody else, you will have succeeded.”

- Maya Angelou

REINVEST with Cori: LIVESTRONG at the YMCA
You've been reading her emails for the past 5 weeks, but now it's time to hear Cori's story. Please watch the below video to learn more about how Cori made it through her fight with cancer thanks to LIVESTRONG at the YMCA and the entire YMCA family.

- Joe Kirkenir,
Director of Development and Communications
There are countless cancer survivors in similar situations to Cori who need the free support and guidance from LIVESTRONG at the YMCA to reclaim their health after their battles with the deadly disease.

Please consider joining Cori and everyone in the LIVESTRONG at the YMCA family by making a donation to the YMCA or simply spreading the word about this program so it can touch the lives of as many people in need as possible. Thank you!

Devotional
Walking with God
by Cori Strathmeyer, Director of Healthy Living,
YMCA of York and York County

Ephesians 4:1b-3

"I urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."

I enjoy walking long distances. I thrive on the physical challenge of hiking over mountains, through forests, along rivers and around towns. God’s creation astounds me during every walk: the views, the scent, the wildlife and the force of nature.

Resources
If you've read this far, you're probably someone who cares about the YMCA and the people we serve. Just by being a part of RESET, you’re moving our community towards a healthier and more connected future, but I’m going to ask you for a bit more. Will you please consider clicking the below button and making a donation of any amount to the YMCA?

York needs the YMCA more than ever to recover from the terrible aftermath of the pandemic. Your donation will, not only ensure free resources like this wellness challenge are available for all, but empower people from all backgrounds to live their best lives possible through the YMCA’s life-changing work.

Thank you!
