Happy New Year to All!

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season with your family and friends and you are as excited as I am for what 2023 holds! 2022 was a big year for RELCO. We completed two of the largest projects in the company's history at BMS and Moderna, along with many others, while putting together one of our highest fiscal year volumes ever. All of this cannot happen without you, this is a credit to you all!

Entering 2023, RELCO is in great shape with backlog and projects. The estimating and services groups are all actively looking at new projects with our current customers. We have already started to see the summer projects that are “out to bid”. These are all great signs of a strong 2023.

We are hiring! Which is a positive and healthy sign for RELCO. We are looking for service technicians, licensed electricians, and very experienced apprentices. Please reach out to your superintendent or Jen Stratford if you know anyone interested in joining Team RELCO.

RELCO Tool Program! You will see deductions for all tool orders starting on your check dated January 13th.

2022 W2 Forms will be mailed out on or around January 20th. If you do not receive one by the end of the month let Jen know.

Benefits

Beneficiary information is probably not something you think about often, and with good reason. When selecting your beneficiary (or beneficiaries) often you think this is a “set and forget” decision. However, forgetting to periodically update this information, especially after big life changes, could have substantial repercussions you may not be aware of.

Beneficiary forms outweigh wills in court. The details of a will do not matter if the beneficiary form is different. The beneficiary form is a binding legal document and takes precedent over the will.

To ensure your life insurance and retirement benefits go where you want them to, you should take the opportunity to review and update your beneficiary information every year, or at least after major life changes.

When you are wearing RELCO gear or driving a RELCO vehicle on a job site, in public, at a family event, you are representing RELCO. Please do so with pride and be respectful, always.

For all unscheduled absences or tardy arrivals, notify your field supervisor AND email HR@gorelco.com.

Reporting is necessary so we can ensure you're OK and make

adjustments in the field for the day.

If an email requesting vacation pay for time missed is not received it will be processed as unpaid.

The RELCO company policy on scrap materials is clear:

All scrap materials are the property of our customer or RELCO. All scrap materials are to be stock piled for pickup by the office. This is to be communicated with your Outside Superintendent. These materials are not yours and you are not entitled to them. It is stealing. This is a zero tolerance policy.
