Virtual event will feature Virginia Senators and Delegates from Arlington on March 18
ARLINGTON, Va. - The Arlington Chamber of Commerce will host the 9th Annual Legislative Breakfast on the morning of Thursday, March 18. Previously hosted by the Leadership Center for Excellence, the Arlington Chamber is assuming the hosting role for this important community event.

This Legislative Breakfast offers attendees the opportunity to hear about the recent General Assembly session from the legislators who represent Arlington in Richmond. Arlington’s members of the Virginia Senate and House of Delegates will discuss the legislation that they patroned, the issues that the General Assembly took up, and the outlook for Arlington and the Commonwealth of Virginia.

"The 2021 General Assembly session included many pieces of critical legislation, and we look forward to welcoming our legislators to discuss how they expect their work to impact Arlington and Virginia," said Kate Bates, President & CEO of the Arlington Chamber of Commerce. "The Chamber is proud to host this event and appreciates the founding organization, Leadership Center for Excellence, for creating this program and trusting the Chamber as its home moving forward."

The program will feature the seven Senators and Delegates who represent Arlington in the General Assembly: Senator Janet Howell (32nd District), Senator Adam Ebbin (30th District), Senator Barbara Favola (31st District), Delegate Patrick Hope (47th District), Delegate Alfonso Lopez (49th District), Delegate Rip Sullivan (48th District), and Delegate Mark Levine (45th District). Michael Pope, Virginia Public Radio reporter, will serve as the moderator.

The event will be held on Thursday, March 18 from 8:00-9:30 a.m. Registration is available online. Media are invited to attend, but RSVP is required. Contact Scott Pedowitz at (703) 525-2400 x203 or [email protected] to confirm your attendance or to learn more.
