Businesses Celebrated at 38th Annual Arlington Chamber Best Business Awards

ARLINGTON, VA - On May 14, the Arlington Chamber of Commerce celebrated the 38th Annual Arlington Best Business Awards at Army Navy Country Club, sponsored by Arlington Community Federal Credit Union. The Best Business Awards are presented to area businesses that consistently deliver exceptional quality of service to their customers, are industry leaders or offer a unique approach to delivery of goods or services, achieve significant growth or stability over the lifetime of their business, display an interest and concern for the success of the Arlington community, and demonstrate a commitment to diversity and inclusion. 


The Award winners are scored in each criteria by winners of each past award. The 2024 Best Business Award Winners are:

George Mason University-Mason Square - 2024 Sustainable Business of the Year

Invario Network Engineers - 2024 Technology Business of the Year

Doorways for Women and Families - 2024 Nonprofit Business of the Year

Celtic House Irish Pub and Restaurant - 2024 Retail Small Business of the Year

Handy Manny's Painting - 2024 Service Small Business of the Year

Hyatt Centric Arlington - 2024 Large Business of the Year

This prestigious awards dinner recognized businesses in the Arlington community that go above and beyond to serve clients and make Arlington a great place to work and live. The awards winners also gave remarks thanking the Arlington business community. "Second to choosing to do business in the Arlington area, the best decision we ever made was joining the Arlington Chamber," said Chrissy Bistline-Bonilla of Handy Manny's Painting.

Following the presentation of the awards, the Chamber inducted Richard B. "Randy" Anderson, Jr. of National Capital Bank into the Arlington Business Hall of Fame. Mr. Anderson shared insights of how this upbringing influenced his career. "Randy has been a mentor, leader and coach to many young bankers at every stage of their careers," said Bob Hawthorne, a 2023 Inductee of the Arlington Business Hall of Fame, who introduced Anderson.


"When you mention Randy's name in the region, it elicits a warm recognition and smile, due not just to his professional success, but his exceptional leadership and unwavering commitment to the community,” said Kate Bates, Arlington Chamber President & CEO. "We are proud to induct him into the Arlington Business Hall of Fame."



The Arlington Business Hall of Fame honors men and women with a connection to Arlington County who have demonstrated a long record of successful management, expertise, and business skills, along with notable achievements and exceptional civic and community involvement.
