Chamber Honors Arlington's Best Businesses
Six area businesses named Best Business Award winners
ARLINGTON, Va.Last night, the Arlington Chamber of Commerce celebrated the 35th Annual Arlington Best Business Awards at the Crowne Plaza Crystal City-Washington, D.C., in a hybrid format that allowed attendees to join in person and virtually. The Best Business Awards are presented to area businesses that consistently deliver exceptional quality of service to their customers, are industry leaders or offer a unique approach to delivery of goods or services, achieve significant growth or stability over the lifetime of their business, display an interest and concern for the success of the Arlington community, and demonstrate a commitment to diversity and inclusion. 

The 2021 Best Business Award winners are:
Leaders in Energy - 2021 Sustainability Business of the Year
The Cookery - 2021 Retail Small Businesses of the Year
MMA & Sports Rehab - 2021 Service Small Business of the Year
VerticalApps - 2021 Technology Small Business of the Year
A-SPAN - 2021 Nonprofit of the Year
Dominion Energy - 2021 Large Businesses of the Year

"This year's winners provide exceptional value to their clients as well as to the greater community," said Chamber President & CEO Kate Bates. "We are proud to present this year's winners with these well-deserved awards and thank them for their continued investment in Arlington." 

The Chamber received 29 submissions this year, ensuring a highly competitive selection process.

"I am so excited to accept the Arlington Chamber of Commerce's Best Business Award for Large Business," said Charlene Whitfield Senior VP of Power Delivery for Dominion Energy. "We have a saying at Dominion Energy that actions speak louder. Our charitable foundation has provided over $250,000 in grants directly impacting more than a dozen of our community partners in Arlington County."

The Best Business Awards is one of the most distinguished evening events in Arlington. This prestigious awards dinner recognizes businesses in the Arlington community that go above and beyond to serve clients and make Arlington a great place to work and live.
