Arlington Restaurant Week a

Success for its 70+ Participants

ARLINGTON, Va. - The Arlington Chamber of Commerce held its sixth annual Arlington Restaurant Week from October 14-21. This event provided diners the chance to experience the diverse culinary offerings of Arlington's vibrant restaurant scene. Every year, Arlington Restaurant Week provides local restaurants with exposure through extensive media promotion attracting new patrons who come to experience their food.


A total of 73 restaurants participated in this year's Arlington Restaurant Week, breaking last year's record. The full list of participating restaurants can be found here.


Participating restaurants offered specials inspired by foods and cultures from all over the world. The offerings included Lebanese, Mexican, Mediterranean, French, and Thai cuisine, in addition to many more.


Local restaurants have faced a range of ongoing challenges in the aftermath of the pandemic, including supply chain disruptions, staffing shortages, and rising food costs. Arlington Restaurant Week serves to celebrate and support our restaurants, which contribute greatly to Arlington's economic vitality and character.


"Restaurant Week is a special opportunity for us to show appreciation to our loyal guests while also attracting new diners," said Robert Maher, Chef and Co-Owner of Maison Cheryl. "This year, we lowered the price of our prix fixe menu as a way of giving back to our customers, which led to an even busier week compared to last year.”


Arlington Restaurant Week hosted a wide range of restaurants from fast-casual spots to five-star dining establishments. Restaurants picked their own price point and marketed their menus on the Arlington Restaurant Week website.


"We did see a large increase in the number of new customers that had not dined with us previously," said Bryan Matland, General Manager at Verre Wine Bar. "We even gained some new returning customers, as some of these new guests to Verre signed up for our wine club."


The Chamber was pleased to offer free participation for member restaurants, courtesy of its sponsors.


"Arlington’s restaurants contribute so much to what makes our community special, and it’s vital that we support them to ensure they thrive," said Arlington Chamber President & CEO Kate Bates in a statement before Restaurant Week.
