• Experienced IT Professional with IT Release Management experience in an IT software development environment.
• The IT Release Manager is responsible for driving and coordinating IT project releases and regular Keep-the-Light-On (KLO) releases for business application capabilities.
• The IT Release Manager will work closely with IT development teams, IT operation teams, and IT program managers to deliver high-quality IT application releases.
• Influence and implement best practices consistent with an agile development methodology.
• Support, Influence and implement best practices consistent with an Waterfall development methodology.
• Establish E2E process , document, stand-up and facilitate Release Management process supporting multiple environments with multiple internal/external stakeholders.
• Release notes experience in JIRA to propose process for incremental change vs feature release.
• Collaborate and manage release processes across all functions within IT and with business stakeholders.
• Provide oversight for deployment of releases into production environments through ensuring release readiness and adequate deployment run-list handoff to Service Delivery.
• Integrate/align Release management process to Dev Ops model.
• Support QA team for Defect Management & Reporting.
• Experience with AWS or Azure environments
• Strong problem solving and debugging skills are required, must be a self-starter and comfortable with a start-up like environment
• Experience in Automotive background is preferred
• Excellent communication skills
