Good Morning Middle School Parents & Families,
We wanted to send a quick reminder to let you know that there are still individuals available on the Angel Tree. This is the BIG week to help out the Salvation Army Angel Tree program by selecting an Angel and purchasing gifts. As of today, we still have 89 Angels that have not been claimed. Last year our Collegiate Middle School helped 150 Angels, so we are hoping to reach that number and hope that our Middle School community will be able to meet the goal that we set for this year. Below is the email that was sent out earlier this month, with more information and the link to the Angel Tree at the bottom; please let us know if you have any questions, or need more information.

Good Afternoon Middle School Parents & Families,
It has been a long standing Collegiate Middle School tradition for our students to participate in the community service of buying gifts for the Salvation Army Angel Tree Gift Drive. The Virtual Angel Tree is ready for you and your child to choose a child or senior adult for whom to purchase a gift! Collegiate has been an important part of this event, and we enjoy offering the Virtual Angel Tree to our Collegiate families for those who would like to participate. This voluntary event could be a fun family experience over the holiday break while helping our Wichita community. Last year, we purchased gifts for 150 Wichita area children! We have a goal to repeat that number as well as an additional 20 senior adults for this year!
It is really simple to participate! See the instructions below to pick your Angel, then, shop anytime before December 2nd! Our Blue Crew Students Ambassadors will be ready to collect your Angel Tree gifts on December 1st and 2nd during our "Stuff the Collegiate Bus" drop off before and after school. A group Blue Crew Student ambassadors will help deliver the donated gifts to the Salvation Army Distribution Center the morning of December 2nd. Then, the entire 8th grade will volunteer their time to help bag up gifts at the distribution center on Dec. 5th as a community service project. If you and your family are interested in helping out this Holiday Season by purchasing a gift, please see the information below. Please follow these instructions to choose your Angels:

Go to the RED BUTTON below to access the WCS Angel Tree
- Create an account and complete the registration

Click on the Angels on the tree to see their details or search for a specific type of Angel using the “Search”button.

Once you have selected your Angel(s), click on “Add to Wish List”- Here you can add additional Angels, remove an Angel, or Start Over.

Once you have reviewed your list, click “Reserve Angels”

A confirmation of your Reserved Angels will appear. Click on the “Email Angel Gift Tag” button.

The Salvation Army will email you an Angel Tag, Print this Tag and attach it to your unwrapped gifts.

Bring the tagged gifts to the Middle School during Afternoon pick up on Thursday, December 1st or Drop off the morning of December 2nd. Our Blue Crew Student Ambassadors will be ready to take your Angel gifts and “Stuff the Collegiate Bus!” We will deliver the gifts on the morning of December 2nd
