We are reaching out to you as educators, administrators, activists, strategists, public officers, organizers, and overall allies to social & eco justice. In tandem with the scheduled (April 2017) release of Carl C. Anthony’s new book, The Earth, the City & the Hidden Narrative of Race: Discovering New Foundations for the Great Work of Our Time, we are creating a guide to connect youth of color—particularly in communities susceptible to the school-to-prison pipeline—to the history of the earth and broader issues of climate justice. The curriculum will guide students in exploring their personal and ancestral narratives and use this as a lens for understanding that their story is inherently connected to issues of racial inequity and climate change. We need your collaborative support now, to make our ALL IN: Climate Justice Learning Action Guide as transformational, relevant, and far reaching as possible!!!
Come Hell or High Water ... We Can Work Together!
