Dear KMS Parents,

The KMS staff is excited to get started on the 2022-23 school year. We hope that you find your building walkthrough helpful in getting your student(s) acclimated with his/her locker and the location of the classrooms. Students will be able to practice their locker combinations, drop materials off in their lockers and locate their classrooms.

Building Walkthroughs
(Parents are welcome to accompany their students)

  • 6th Grade building walkthrough will occur tomorrow, Thursday, August 11 anytime between 9:00 am-11:30 am. Please note that the first few days of school will also be an ongoing orientation by the 6th-grade teachers, to assist students with getting acclimated to the middle school building.

  • 7th Grade building walkthrough will occur on Friday, August 12 anytime between 9:00 am-11:30 am

  • 8th Grade building walkthrough will occur on Friday, August 12 anytime between 12:30pm-3:00 pm

Student schedules will be made available through the Infinite Campus Portal this afternoon for you to print and/or have available on your electronic device. While in the parent portal, be sure to click the "More" tab in order to see your student's locker information. Below is a button with directions to help students understand how to open their lockers.

New To District Orientation

  • All "New to District" students and parents are welcome to attend an orientation to be held tomorrow, Thursday, August 11 from 1:00pm-1:45pm in the KMS Cafeteria.

7th and 8th Grade Students- Yearbooks are In!
  • If you ordered a KMS yearbook from the 2021-2022 school year, you can pick this up in the main hallway near the KMS Gymnasium.

If you have not done so already, please be sure to complete the online census verification form linked to the button below.
