ABOUT THE EVENT

A private tour of a Next Generation Great American Home™.  More than a single building, it is a movement that combines existing innovations to create a new type of home that is energy-efficient, resilient to climate change, fire proof and more livable day to day.

Y's Men member Leigh Overland specializes in designing state-of-the-art concrete ICF (Integrated Concrete Forms) homes. They are high efficiency, healthier, sustainable, and safer homes. This event is a comprehensive tour of Leigh’s own home built in this manner.  

His home has innovative components besides the ICF walls, such as SIP roof (no roof rafters), metal stud interior walls, and floors (factory-made), in-floor radiant heat AND cooling and triple-pane European doors and windows (cost less than a double-pane standard window).
