Event Overview


This timely forum will bring together three distinguished voices from the Muslim, Christian, and Jewish traditions to reflect on the moral, historical, and political foundations of coexistence in the Holy Land, and to explore what a just and sustainable future might require.


Confirmed Panelists:

The discussion will engage questions of justice, dignity, and equal rights, drawing on Jewish, Christian, and Muslim ethical traditions, and will be designed for policymakers, scholars, faith leaders, and engaged community members.

Peter Beinart


Peter Beinart is a journalist, political thinker, and editor-at-large of Jewish Currents. He writes widely on Israel–Palestine, Jewish identity, democracy, and human rights, with contributions to The New York Times, The Atlantic, and other major publications. He is the author of several influential books and the writer of the Beinart Notebook newsletter, where he explores questions of justice, equality, and moral responsibility.




Mother Agapia Stephanopoulos


Mother Agapia Stephanopoulos is an Orthodox Christian nun and scholar whose work focuses on Christian theology, ethics, and interfaith understanding. She brings a deeply rooted spiritual and historical perspective to questions of coexistence, emphasizing the lived experience of faith, compassion, and moral witness in contexts of conflict. Her contributions highlight the Christian ethical tradition’s call to peace, dignity, and reconciliation.




Mustafa Akyol


Mustafa Akyol is a senior fellow at the Cato Institute, where he focuses on the intersection of public policy, Islam, and modernity. He is a prominent Muslim public intellectual, author, and commentator on Islam, freedom, and modernity. He is the author of Reopening Muslim Minds and other works examining the relationship between faith, reason, and pluralism. Akyol has written for The New York Times, Foreign Policy, and The Wall Street Journal.


Radwan A. Masmoudi

Moderator


Founder and President of the Center for the Study of Islam and Democracy, CSID, and Senior Advisor for Strategic and Philanthropic Initiatives at MPAC. Dr. Masmoudi has led programs on civic education, democratic governance, and policy dialogue across the Middle East and North Africa and in Washington, DC.
