Were you inundated with political campaign mailers leading up to the June primary elections? Did the plethora of push cards explode in your mailbox prior to the primary runoffs? Have you noticed trends and similarities in literature coming from supposedly different campaign organizations?
If you answered YES to any or ALL of these questions, then you need to be at Tulsa 9.12 Project on Thursday, September 8th when Jenni White will unveil and explain just how deep the corruption goes and how dark the money is that funds it. Like a detective following the clues with Scooby Doo, Jenni will reveal who is behind these dastardly and malicious campaign attacks.
An avid researcher, Jenni White has been investigating the dark money behind many of the recent negative “attack” campaigns in the Oklahoma Republican primary elections. In a series of online articles entitled: The Corruption Belt (posted on the website www.ROPE2.org and provided in links below), Jenni has been connecting the dots between so called “independent” PACs (political action committees) and is discovering how intertwined these organizations are. Her research helps explain who the players are behind the scenes, who sits on the boards of these organizations, where the money is coming from and going to, which candidates are being targeted and attacked, and much more. You won’t want to miss this meeting!
Since earning a Master’s in Biology, Jenni White has been both a writer and educator. From advertising copy to highly annotated education policy papers, Jenni spent nearly four decades applying pen to paper, educating not only readers, but groups as diverse as media personalities, legislators and citizens in detailed policies, concepts and subjects. In 2008 she began working through a group she cofounded, Restore Oklahoma Public Education (ROPE), to repeal Common Core from Oklahoma law - an effort that ended successfully in 2014 with a bill she helped to craft. Her research and writing skills were instrumental in achieving that victory, as was her award-winning ability to educate parents, legislators and citizens regarding Common Core and other complicated education policies arising from both the state and federal levels. Jenni is a very organized individual who performs each task she’s undertaken to a high level of accomplishment by assuming responsibility when needed and instituting ideas or processes to make tasks easier to complete.
She also taught three of her own children through graduation and scores of others through their homeschool coop. A freelance writer, she has written numerous published articles and technical papers. She has also studied and written about federal, state and local education policy for over a decade, during which time she’s also proposed, written, and analyzed education legislation. From 2017-2021 Jenni served as the elected Mayor of the Town of Luther where she helped grow Town funds from 135 thousand to just over one million dollars. Jenni and her husband have been married since 1997 and have 5 children.
