Women of all ages need to plan for their financial future. Learn fundamental facts and questions to help you make financial choices at every stage of your life. Sample topics include the decision to buy vs. lease a car plus understand and make the most of corporate benefits and stock options.

Bring your questions to this interactive session. You will leave feeling empowered to take charge of your finances and add to your portfolio.

Join us at 4:00 PM for an hour of networking prior to the panel discussion. Event venue will be closed by 7:00 PM.

Diane Bourdo, CFP
President, Humphreys Group

Ms. Bourdo’s career in the financial services industry started more than three decades ago, rising out of a keen interest in the stock market and investing. It wasn’t long, however, before she realized that financial planning was the world in which she could make a direct, positive impact on people’s lives. Since founding Humphreys Group in 1983, she and team have helped countless clients plan and invest. The process often starts with having real and sometimes, tough conversations. Ms. Bourdo’s services include financial, retirement and estate planning, as well as investment management, charitable giving and philanthropic legacy planning, stock option planning and generational wealth transfer. Humphreys Group’s ultimate mission is to help women achieve their future goals and have greater financial success. In addition to holding the Certified Financial Planner™ designation, Ms. Bourdo earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from the Haas School of Business, University of California Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English Language and Literature/Letters from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

Stacy Lewis Daher, MAcc, CPA
Associate VP Finance & Treasury, University of San Francisco

Ms. Daher currently serves as the Associate Vice President for Finance and Treasury at the University of San Francisco, where she manages or serves as a fiduciary for over $1 billion, which includes the University’s endowment portfolio, capital project funds, and short-term operating funds. Ms. Daher also serves as a fiduciary for the University’s retirement plans. In addition to her investment responsibilities, Ms. Daher also oversees investment accounting and operations, debt issuance and management, procurement and other business services, and serves as the main point of contact for the University’s external rating agencies, bankers, and financial advisors. Ms. Daher has over 20 years of experience in the higher education and financial industries. In January 2012, Governor Jerry Brown appointed her as a Member of the California Educational Facilities Authority. Ms. Daher is a Certified Public Accountant who began her career in public accounting at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she managed audit teams and programs for her clients in the higher education, health care, and technology industries. She holds a Master of Accounting degree from Saint Louis University and a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Missouri - Columbia.

Ms. Dykstra is a Certified Financial Planner with Charles Schwab in San Francisco. Her goal is to provide the foundational pieces we all need to put ourselves on our path to financial success, freedom, and security. Crystal works to de-mystify the world of investing, outline the financial risks women face, and then provide the tools to jump right over them. The power of our own personal financial plan and how it provides the map get us to where we want to be is one of the greatest tools we have. Knowledge is power.

Colleen O’Brien
VP, Oakland and Berkeley Branch Manager, Charles Schwab

Ms. O’Brien has been in leadership for 30 years in the financial services industry. She is currently the Vice President and Branch Manager for the Oakland & Berkeley offices for Charles Schwab & Co. Inc. Prior to joining Schwab, Ms. O’Brien spent 20 years at Morgan Stanley in San Francisco and Marin. She is passionate about the education and empowerment of women investors so that they can “Own Their Tomorrow” and feel confident in their financial security. Ms. O’Brien has resided in Contra Costa County for the past 25 years raising two sons, Aaron, who works in Financial Services in Phoenix, AZ and is a UC Santa Barbara graduate and Zachary who is a junior in Economics & Business at UC Santa Cruz.
