Andrea McAndrew, CFA
Consultant and Research Analyst, Fiduciary Investment Advisors, LLC

Andrea is a Consultant and Research Analyst at Fiduciary Investment Advisors, LLC (FIA) where she works primarily with the firm’s endowment and foundation and family clients. Her range of expertise includes asset allocation/investment portfolio construction, capital markets analysis, investment manager evaluation and fiduciary governance oversight. Andrea also leads many of the firm’s OCIO Search and Monitoring projects. In addition, Andrea remains a contributing member of the firm’s manager research group, where she focuses on emerging market equity and hedge fund strategies.

Prior to joining FIA, Andrea was a Managing Director at Alpha Capital Research, LLC where she was responsible for hedge fund manager sourcing, due diligence and portfolio analysis for the firm’s fund of fund products and family office clients. Before joining Alpha Capital, she worked on the endowment at Choate Rosemary Hall and prior to Choate she was responsible for compliance and administration at ARA Portfolio Management. Andrea has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.

Timothy Ng
Chief Investment Officer, Clearbrook

Tim joined the firm in 2010 and is Chief Investment Officer at Clearbrook, as well as Head of the Clearbrook Investment Committee. Within this role, Tim is involved in global macro and manager research, portfolio analysis and risk management.

Prior to Clearbrook, Tim was President and Chief Investment Officer of Structured Investments Group, LLC. He began his career in 1982 and has served as an alternative investment and hedge fund advisor in numerous capacities. Previously, Tim was a Managing Partner with Access International Advisors and has held the title of Senior Vice President in varying roles at Prudential Securities, Smith Barney, and Oppenheimer & Company.

During his career, Tim was one of the first advisors to place investor capital into hedge funds, portable alpha portfolios, structured/hedge fund linked notes, and insurance dedicated hedge fund products. Tim has had oversight of more than $5 billion of investor capital on behalf of corporations, pension funds, endowments and foundations, banks, investment advisory firms, and family offices.

He has been a holder of securities licenses Series 3, 7, 24, 63, 65 and 82. Tim received a BA in Economics from Stony Brook University and an MBA with honors, Magna Cum Laude, from Long Island University.


Helen Zhang, CFA
Senior Investment Consultant, Vanguard

Helen joined Vanguard in May 2017. Before joining Vanguard, Helen was a Portfolio Manager at Citi Private Bank’s Investment Management division, providing discretionary investment management to Ultra-High-Net-Worth individuals and institutions globally (overseeing $2.8 billion AUM for about 40 clients). Before Citi, she served as Senior Investment Analyst at UBS Wealth Management Americas and earlier at GM Asset Management (which manages the pension plans of GM and its affiliates). Helen got her B.A. from Peking University and her MBA from Columbia Business School. She is also a CFA charter holder since 2004. Her book Build Wealth, Build Happiness was published in China in 2010.

Amanda Tepper
Chief Executive Officer, Chestnut Advisory Group

Amanda Tepper is the Founder and CEO of Chestnut Advisory Group, a firm that provides business development consulting for asset managers. Chestnut helps our clients raise and retain capital by providing custom go-to-market strategies and content.

Previously Amanda was Global Director of the senior portfolio management team at AllianceBernstein. Amanda has deep experience in sell-side equity research, as Associate Director of Equity Research at Bank of America and as an Institutional-Investor All-America Team- ranked analyst at JPMorgan.

Amanda holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a BA from Brown University, Phi Beta Kappa. Amanda serves as a member of the 100 Women in Finance Global Advisory Council, and on the Andover Development Board of Phillips Academy.
